Well, I fucked up. Gotta spend this weekend studying for a a mandatory economics class I blew off for a couple weeks. Anyone have good stories on mandatory non-major related classes? I need to procrastinate.

In my country we have to pass a mandatory Swedish course in university, regardless of our major. Our first assignment in the course was to write an essay (in Swedish) about any subject of our choosing, and the guy next to me chose to write about some porn site. The absolute madman.

>took a required engineering ethics course my last semester
>final essay was 90% of the class grade
>only showed up to the class a third of the time, basically whenever I had time to kill
>with all the indians and mudslimes on campus, I was one of the few that could write in English properly
>write up some bs essay about one of my hobbies
>A in the course

Funny thing is, I have a job now, and I'm STILL one of the few that can write in English properly

It's supposed to make us well rounded or something. Didn't European schools used to be that way?
