Would it be safer to apply nicotine laced glycerin to the skin rather than inhaling it?

>> No.8326590

both are addictive so you'd be better of avoiding both

Absolutely.

Do you know what % of the nicotine would be absorbed, and how long that would take, and how long the half-life of the nicotine would be once absorbed?
Would it cause local irritation?

>Would it cause local irritation?
Maybe, but it's not an issue compared to coating your lungs with glycerine and nicotine.

>Do you know what % of the nicotine would be absorbed etc

I know that nicotine is easily absorbed through the skin. It will be much slower and milder than smoking, but you're gonna feel it.

Be very careful not to overdose. It's super easy with this method of administration, and once you start feeling it it's too late.

Don't use more than you would smoke.
ie don't use more than a milliliter of 18mg nic per couple of hours.
A milliliter is a really small amount. Really easy to overdo. Just saying, be careful. Spill the whole bottle on yourself and you'll die.

How many droplets as produced by a normal dropper-type bottle would be in a milliliter though?

get a syringe to be sure.
a teaspoon is 5 ml. That's a fifth of a teaspoon.

You can use your dropper (with the actual e-liquid) to fill up a teaspoon and get an approximation. If you can't calculate this than just go back and finish high school.

Yes. For one, the thermal decomposition products of e-cigarettes include various lacrimating agents as well as known carcinogens.

As long as dose was carefully monitored, skin absorption would be safer.

Thanks anon.

At any rate I think 1 small droplet would be safe just eye-balling from the size of it vs the 10ml bottle so I'll test that now.

Indeed. I quite like nicotine but the notion of fucking up my lungs to enjoy it seems barbaric. It is 2016, after all.

>> No.8326650

I vape and sometimes when the coil is starting to go, i blow the nicotine onto my hand and rub it in. I would say a 1/2 ml can come out sometimes. At 18mg, 1/2ml does absolutely nothing. No buzz, no irritation, i probably just end up with moisturized skin or something.

What? 9mg of nicotine is ~6-18 cigarettes worth of nicotine.

So far so good. No apparent local irritation, and no nausea/vomiting. Feel fairly relaxed and at ease.

Yes, its 18mg/ml

But i overstimated the amount of fluid, its more like 1/10ml or 1/5ml of fluid.
