how can 1^2 be one because then 2 is of no value. 1+1=2 2=2=4 but then if 1x1=1 then 2x2=2 and 3x3=3 so then 1x1 must equal 2. Fields medal please 1 and 1 mutiplie two since then the square of 4 is of no consequence.
