how much IQ do you need to be a genius writer in literature?

>> No.8306855

Um, well a "genius" is usually someone thought to be in the >145 IQ range. And to be a writer you need to write something. So both of those things.

>> No.8306856

all great writers of history: Goethe, Shakespeare, Dante, Joyce, etc had IQs of about 170-200. Don't ask me how I know this, they wrote great works and that means that they must also have astonishing IQs -- I'll leave it there, you don't need to test them to know that -- that doesn't mean that just because I haven't achieved anything means I have a low IQ heh heh quite the contrary dear fellow; my IQ is 150. The reason these writers achieved more than me was because they were predestined to by their IQ. I seriously hope you don't disagree, because that would make you a sjw cuck.

Just average IQ (100) BUT

You just need a lot of creativity and it's a little hard to determine how creative you are since IQ is only for maths and memorization

Instead of worrying about your IQ, try to become a genius writer in literature and see if you fail or not.

Why is /sci/ always so quick to completely dismiss IQ as illegitimate? Is it really that much of a sham or is it some board joke I'm not getting?
