Most common answer you'll get in this thread:

Problem with this explanation is: Who made the rule that nothingness is unstable?

And finally, no matter which philosophical path you take, you'll end up at the "prime mover" problem. Causality must be violated at the end of the chain and that is something that your causal brain simply can't accept.

What can make something out of nothing?
Nothing is literally nothing.

No matter, no anything whatsoever. It is void beyond void, it is something simply unimaginable and unpercievable as even our understand of Nothing constitutes something.

That is where the logic is flawed, there might of been primordial Chaos of mish mashed matter on an atomic scale, however we can't ever really say it was "Nothing". The better question is, was this "Alpha material" always here? Where did it come from? Will it go away? In time we'll all be dissolved into that primordial mix of Chaos, but will there still be something to start the forge anew at this Universes end?
