They are just the first rocket company who hav decent PR. rockets and space are cool as fuck, but stagnation and government influence are a chilling factor, and PR (and public support!) has been very poor.

Just look at ULA, scrambling to build a good outreach program now. Bruno tweeting etc.

SpaceX's PR department do know what they are doing, thats for sure. Hell, i'l masturbate over anything rocket-y, but only SpaceX and to some degree Blue Origin is really making an effort, with their livecasts (cameras on the fucking payload fairing omg wtf) and animations. Hoping to see ULA, Boeing and so on get in on it too, at some point

This.

I used to follow NASA a lot, in the news and on related TV programs, but they almost totally dropped off the radar. Now the only place I can get info about them is online, usually only on their website. There was a huge gap between falling off the world and getting their website up to speed. Publicized stuff are just blips on the screen once in a while.

Now I keep seeing SpaceX everywhere. Hell, when there is a launch people are spamming the youtube links in various chats of games I play.

Not to mention they are up on the latest trends like Pokemon GO (that cringe-worthy mention at the end of the launch feed). Of course Juno has LEGOs on board, but that just a nod to Gen X and Baby Boomers more than anything else.

This, to be honest.

The scale of planeteering efforts to make either one habitable are equally ridiculous. You'd need to set up a huge asteroid impact to restart the magnetosphere in Mars' case or to strip parts of the atmosphere in the case of Venus.

Might as well go to the planet that's closer and has nicer gravity.

I can tell you that they get their jolly rocked off in sex clubs or finding some Chad at a bar. Female engineers don't have to try hard for sex. They don't fuck in their work place. One common thing about them is that they hate male engineers for being dweebs who can't talk to women. Its fucking 4chan in physical form when you're around male engineers.
