For one thing, even in the "Dark Ages" there was a consensus that the earth was round, as there had been a consensus among educated people since the Greeks. Flat Earth is a meme popularized by history classes who claim that Columbus was a flat-earther despite literally setting sail to sail around the world. Also, the idea of "consensus" in a pre-information era society is ridiculous because transfer of information and evidence was slow, there was no international community of scientists like there was now, and religion shaped science to a huge degree so regions with different religions would naturally have conflicting beliefs despite similar evidence.

For another, medieval scientists were cavemen compared to us. They fed people mercury because they didn't understand how the human body worked. We understand how the human body works now. They looked at the stars and said God because they didn't have telescopes or an understanding of astrophysics. We have both now. Comparing the ignorance of ignorant people to the ideas and facts given by genuinely educated people is asinine.

tl;dr Fuck outta here with your pseudoscientific redpill shit and accept the fact that science today knows enough to make rational judgements and that 99% of scientists have a universal consensus that climate change is happening and it is man-made. And since I already did a rant here, its absurd and delusional to claim that religion makes a good scientist, or that lack thereof makes a good scientist. The literal cornerstone of all scientific method is to put belief aside when working on science. If they weren't able to do that, they wouldn't have been scientists. Every time people bring up "heres to people 200 years ago who were religious and also smart," all they're saying is that those people either 1) Worked in fields where belief in God didn't matter, or 2) Were smart enough to separate work from religion.
