Here is a rule: Any degree that merges the names of two other degrees or fields of study is a meme degree.

Prime examples: Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, etc.

Don't give me these feels anon. I majored in biochem because I was premed, wish I could go back and do chem, but I'm going to grad school for pure chem so it all worked out.

Has not proposed a decent theorem yet. Organometallics is not a meme either along with biochem. Though it is fairly close. I think organometallics and biochem are more established fields though.
