(from website)
Have you ever wanted to blow something up? Or maybe you always dreamt of operating an atomic power plant? Do you have a will to develop your own CPU? The Powder Toy lets you to do all of these, and even more!

Pretty cool game/tool with lots of neat physics and chemistry involved.

Looks cool. I remember playing Falling Sand Game when I was a kid, this looks like an enhanced version

Science related, can be classed as a game or a simulation. Also /v/ is fucking cancer

you're not discussing the science aspect of it or any theorems or navier strokes equations or any thesis. you're just here for DUDE GAMES LMAO, and you should go to your containment board which is >>>/v/

A basic version of the same game got me into science, however other than sparking interest in science for kids I don't see anything special about it.

I made a nuclear reactor and a small computer in powder toy, but most of the time i'm blowing up plutonium

Yeah it's pretty fun

This is a concept that I've seen tried before on the internet

anyone else remember that one ancient flash game

>> No.8014779

Yes, it was a physics simulator named powder game

>> No.8014807

This reminds me of a sci-fi novel, although I can't quite remember which one.

I think it was titled something along the lines of "City of the Immortals", or something.

There was a young woman who pluged herself into a molecular level simulator, and made experiments on early life.
Later on, the world goes to shit and a few people are uploaded into a virtual heaven, to be bored for eternity.
