is it just me or are tensors/manifolds impossible?

shits high dimensional geometry on fucking steroids. And all the proofs just seem super hand wavey and basically magic

no they are just ugly. deal with it or study an aesthetically pleasing field instead.

Nigga what.

What do you mean by impossible? A Manifold is just a Hausdorff Top. Space with "charts" that map portions of the manifold into R^n.

ok this is good, are there any other channels like this (number theory & combinatorics) if possible

Think of origami getting blisters that grow in to the acute angle instead of the other... whatever the balls that was called, anyway, this, upon stacking multiple tensors axises creates the vendiagram and then the space in that the vendiagram breeds is a tensor of n in the that, depending on where the the vendiagram gets chopped, breeds a coordinate system of similar to a layered space that can be derived by a lorentz transformation in where all the spaces are unique

That's how I work with them anyways

>> No.7930346

No, they don't seem handwavy at all. Where are you getting these proofs?

nah senpai they're probably the most intuitive higher maff I learned so far

please never ask me about ring theory though fuck that shit. only care about it cause module theory is cool as balls.

im with you OP. Trying to learn tensor logic, but when I try to figure out what's really happening, I get stuck in a mind loop and freeze

I see your problem. You're a physics student. Don't worry about it, you suck at all math. It's just easier to recognize with babby tier differential topology.
