To the inorganicfags, i picked up a textbook on inorganic, meissler 2nd ed or something for like 8,bucks. Whats a good chapter to,start reading? I wanna learn more about orbitals and coordination and all that cool shit. Wjats the best way to tackle it. Assume i have a strong background in general and organic. No p chem yet

You know, we can just slap some non-carbon groups at it and it will be inorganic.

Octanitrocubane. There are enough oxygens atoms so that burning it requires no additional oxygen (theoretically, I don't know if it actually does). It is not as great as an explosive as hoped, though.
