Patriotism is a degeneracy

>I was born on this peace of land
>I love this peace of land more than other peace of land
>My peace of land is better than your peace of land

>> No.7912824

At every line I hoped you would correct "peace" into "piece" but I was let down.

I think it's more about the people living on it.
That being said the land undoubtedly has a massive effect on them.

I don't feel patriotic to the country I was born on, but I feel a bond to the land where my ancestors come from.

I believe this is Instinctive.

You're not really a member of let's say orthodox church if you don't go to church every Sunday and live an ascetic life - according to old canons if someone skips three consecutive Sundays for no reason at all he should remove himself from the body of church.

So it's funny we see people complaining about religion while they're secular and by the means, logic and explanations of church God is absent in their life and they're with nothing different than the other people which God tolerates.

It's more likely for a secular Christian to be damned in hell forever than for a practicing, virtuous Muslim to enter hell after second judgement - God is righteous, of this we can be sure and his judgement will be based on the reality of man life, if he was born in a Islamic word it's not his fault.

But again I skipped church this Sunday so I'm not really considered a Christian, more of an heretic so to speak... so don't take my word for catechism, go study it yourself - or buy an theology, dogma book.
