You know I read an interesting study a few months ago. Jupiter might have been responsible for why our solar system is the way it is.

Most solar systems that we see out there have relatively few planets and most of them are gasious or Icy.

During the formation of our solar system Saturn was much closer to the Sun. As Jupiter grew more and more it started pulling Saturn towards himself. Saturn then in turn scooped up all the stuff like a huge bulldozer between the Sun and the Jupiter which could explain his rings.

Since Saturn took all those ingredients with himself the planets that were forming were relatively different more rocky less gasious, with more iron, and other differences that I can't remember. Which explains the reason why Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are kinda similar yet are rarely found in other solar systems.

It is indeed. Just your typical '70s anti-proliferation bullshit. In theory ITAR is only supposed to outlaw the export of strategic technologies, not mere possession of them. If you can prove to the manufacturer/seller that you're a "US person," you can legally still own this stuff, but most manufacturers don't want to go to the trouble of validating your average Joe and thus don't market ITAR-restricted items to the general public.

What's probably even worse is that ITAR restricts not only the export of physical objects themselves, but also mere information pertaining to sensitive technologies. You technically can't even TALK about it to a foreigner without breaking federal law. This applies to EVERYONE in US jurisdiction; not just the select few contractors and personnel with security clearances who have signed NDA agreements thereby voluntarily forfeiting their 1st amendment rights.

And, at the end of the day, it does jack-shit for 99% of the technologies it regulates, since most of these restricted technologies are already proliferated and are manufactured and sold globally, even at the consumer level.

Iirc, its very diffuse with low density at its edges. It comes close to not being a star, but closer to a gas cloud. Kinda the opposite of black holes.
