Mine is 119. A level student studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Why are there so many IQ threads on /sci/ when it only indicates how well you can take IQ tests?

the approved IQ is one high enough to avoid making idiot threads like yours.

> it only indicates how well you can take IQ tests
And it has correlation with success in sci .

My opinion about IQ is that it is a good indicator to indicate how good you handle technology - more like the higher you score the more obvious it is you were risen in society.
Other than that it's not tied up to general intelligence, at best the abstraction part which partakes into sciences.

My first IQ test at a psychologist where I was very eager, very curious and very involved I scored 140.
On other serious tests where I was very bored and uninterested I scored 115 then 125 .. I was never as interested and involved like in the first test.. I concluded that your mood is crucial for the test results and a true honest intelligence test should be done on various emotional states, periods of the day season etc... there are lots of variables to consider when you want to label someone and pick workforce based on that number...
IQ tests in the way they are today are bullcrap.

But If you are at least a little involved in them and score less than 100 it means you might be genuinely retarded.

Intelligence can not be quantified.

Because people without real achievement like to celebrate their IQ as a proxy.

Only 134 unfortunately. Still more intelligent than virtually everybody here though.

Can you not read? He says A-Level, that's Bong high school basically

>> No.7755781

If that was the case schools wouldn't give exams to students and grade on them since its a "meaningless number"

>> No.7755793

My iq is a comfortable 130.

This was easily enough to get the highest grade in every subject as a European hs leaver and go to any university I wanted

Still wound up dropping out the first time round due to drug use and seasonal affective disorder.

If you have above 100 iq and a good work ethic then this will place you ahead of most people and I really don't think it's worth giving a shit about anything beyond that.
