What's a good math-oriented book on physics?

The classical textbooks (Sears, Halliday) seem very vague compared to a math textbook. I'm looking for a physics textbook written in a comprehensive way like Rudin's Principles.

I get so sick of xkcd and that people feel the need to incessantly repost even the most inane strawman supported "points". Very few comics have any semblance of accuracy, much less utility.

It's a myopic skim-job at best.

>you can't know nuffin meme
Do the world a favor a read a book, just one, for once in your life. Pretty much every philosopher in history denied the 'you can't know nuffin' - although I suppose /sci/'s knowledge of philosophy is reduced to a single Humean sentence, interpreted in the most convenient way (against the main point of his work).
This meme is just like saying that mathematics is nothing but applying formulas and do calculations.

Both /sci/ and /lit/ are filled with teenagers bashing each other to prove who is smarter (in the most pathetic way, instead of proving yourself smart, joke about how the other is an idiot). Is it lack of self-esteem?, or plain stupidity?

This is quite wrong...
To give a single example (although it could be done with almost every philosopher) the neo-Humean project was about the legitimization of epistemic beliefs, Kantian being the main exponent of neo-Humean philosophy and writing the first critique to explain why people are entitled to make such 'I know...' judgements (any scientific claim in particular).

Do your own thinking.

You've not even regurgitated a valid statement regarding on of these people's beliefs. You just stated something existed to be read.

I don't want to read it, and I'm not gonna. It's your bullshit that gives philosophy a skewed appearance. It's like saying "Yeah, this guy said "God forever geometrizes" once. It was kind of cool and means stuff now that you have the means to think about it." Very substantial.

>Do your own thinking.
I'm afraid this easily the most stupid comment I've read this week - there was no reason for it.
I simply pointed out a single philosopher that disagreed very much with you, and not 'a' philosopher, but easily the most influential, with works both on philosophy and science (natural philosophy at the time).

>You've not even regurgitated a valid statement regarding on of these people's beliefs.
I did.

>I don't want to read it, and I'm not gonna.
Both are obvious reading your comment.
Your ignorance shows, there is no need to point it out.

>You just stated something existed to be read.
Indeed, I'm not going to write philosophy on an internet forum.

>It's like saying "Yeah, this guy said "God forever geometrizes" once. It was kind of cool and means stuff now that you have the means to think about it." Very substantial.
Nobody is telling you to read anything, or that it was 'kind of cool'. The statement was very simple: the cartesian thinking of which your comment was an example showed many flaws and criticism, being the Kantian one of the most important, and one that holds (with several fixes) to this day.
Why? It doesn't really matter - I'm not going to get into that on the internet (less here on /sci/) nor you have the knowledge to get into it.
