Actually in our anti-intellectual slut culture, intelligence makes people worthless. Intelligent people are being despised as "boring nerds" and are excluded from reproduction. Our society favors the loud, rude, tall, dumb brutes. According to the majority of the population the most valuable people (considering the media attention they receive and their salary) are actors (uneducated good-looking douchebags who are paid for lying on camera), musicians (anti-intellectual noise makers) and athletes (below average IQ monsters of physical strength). Thanks to sexual selection in a few generations the average IQ will have decreased by at least 30 points.
