I'm willing to study physics and mathematics at the same time but I'm not quite sure if I'm going to be able to handle all the courses.
I'll leave you a list with the courses I should take the first semester:
-Analytic Geometry.
-Modern Geometry.
-Information Systems.
-Differential and integral calculus 1
-College Algebra
-Introduction to physics
Is it too much for me?
How long will it take before I attempt suicide?

What's wrong with it?

Im 100% sure they aren't really geometry classes. It can't be, right?

Analytic Geometry is something you do in Algebra and Calculus, not as it's own course.
College Algebra is a Calculus prerequisite
Calculus is a Modern Geometry prerequisite

Indeed they're geometry, I'm kinda tired to translate but if you look into the links you might be able to understand most of it.

At least in Mexico you take Algebra and Analityc Geometry along with precalc in High School and also manage to see some Calc 1 at the end of High School.
In the Univsersity you get an indepth to those topics but you've already gotten the basics

>Analytic geometry
Standard precalculus remedial class

>Comtemporary Physics
What the FUCK it's Classical Mechanics, E&M, Thermo and Quantum all in one semester, you're not gonna learn shit.

>College Algebra
Standard precalculus remedial class

>Differential and Integral Calculus
Actually just differential calculus. First half of a standard Calc 1 class.

> Computing
Introduction to computers I guess with a bit of exposure to programming languages (C and FORTRAN)

Where's Modern geometry? THat's what i'm most curious about. The courseload seems a piece of cake, don't worry.

Damn, I forgot the link to Modern Geometry.
Here you have it:

If you don't understand something just let me know and I'll translate.

Strange, it's both a remedial class in high school geometry and an introduction to (disconnected?) concepts in axiomatic geometry.

Most Calc 1 classes start integrals in the first semester.

>> No.7604982

>>7604978
Yes, it's the first half of a standard Calc 1 class cutting after the MVT right before integrals.

I guess that it's to get familarized with those topics, for example you get classical mechanics in second semestre along with analytic mechanics in the Sixth, E&M in the third and seventh semester , thermodynamics in the sixth and quantum in the eighth semester

"This course will introduce you to the topics you'll cover later in..." classes are an abomination. They teach nothing, accomplish nothing, and provide no benefit.

Fuck I'm angry just thinking about it.

You better be a prodigy if you are going to take the 2 only real sciences at the same time.

Yes, one is based on the other but at some point you will be learning two completely different types of mathematics and then you will be overwhelmed but it will be too late because you are already in.

>> No.7607000

>>7606853
A large part of them overlap. Studying both is roughly 60% extra work. It's easy if you spend 1 more year and take some extra courses each semester.
