Since rockets don't work in space, (what would you push against?) it's going to have to be lifted up to and from orbit via a space elevator made from graphene cables. The warp drive NASA's building will obviously provide us the way to move between star systems quickly - although hopefully not too quickly, because I still have to have time to get my homework done on the way.
