Is the simulation hypothesis real? Do we really live in a simulation?

Shit, wrong pic, but nevermind.

Nah, a simulation would imply that the universe is deterministic, and obviously free will is real.

unfalsifiable bullshit, you can't prove or disprove it no matter how much you try.

so it's useless popsci

If we do then there is no way to prove it.
But i think the previous statement can be proven

We are fictional characters then
Our Fictional characters could possess Artificial intelligence as well.
Then You'll know if we are fictional characters or not.
Test it.

>> No.7570620

We could in theory create a simulation inside a simulation.
Then Our creator would start to question it's own reality.

If we could create a simulation.
Then It'll be proof that we are fictional characters in a simulation or at least question our reality and thoughts.

Its a hypothesis, not truth. It is an effective model if its' predictions can be tested against irl observations and those predictions are correct, but a scientific model never actually becomes truth. You should have asked the question "what predictions does this hypothesis offer and have they been tested?"
