Simple; goats are gentle animals that will graze on anything, and you can get some nice goat milk from it. After the teats dries up, you can make some nice goat stew. Plus, if you get a second chance to pick a door and get a goat, you can breed more goats for your future generation.

Cars on the other hand, does not make good stew, and the milk of a car is highly toxic.
