Which STEM programs in university require the highest amount of effort on your part? Which require the least?

Which STEM careers in the workforce require the highest amount of effort on your part? Which require the least?

Can also talk about Law/Medical fields if you want.

It all depends on your course selection and work ethic.

>Which STEM programs in university require the highest amount of effort on your part?

math was rough, but once i took numerical methods every other class became easy.

>Which require the least?
we got this mechanical engineering series of courses thats 4 semesters, and its basically an ever more complex episode of junkyard wars

no tests, no textbooks. heres what i need, build this fucker.

How numerical methods helped you? It was one of the least interesting and easiest class I had to take but maybe I missed something. Could you elaborate more?

>> No.7492340

because we did alot of matlab and coding.

only 1 of my Mech E classes has banned my beloved TI-89 from exams. i just program little solvers now and it eliminates all the plug and chug.

statics, dynamics, and solid mechanics were all laughably easy because of that.

Assuming you mean the amount of workload, engineering

If you mean abstract thinking or having to wrap your mind around a cocnept however, then obviously math. Theoretical physics comes second and everything else is currently a distant third (i consider theoretical CS as a branch of math)

Does look pretty tough, just finding the Linear Algebra in Semester 4 strange.

I don't know how to feel about this.

In all of my other classes it's always 6 girls in a class of 40 people.

Meaningless question since effort varies by person. Math comes easy to me but its taken me tons of effort to get barely good at working in teams and communicating. So I am doing a double in EE and math which is A LOT easier for me than say... business or industrial engineering or law.
