My version of a"scientific " explanation of the porches difference in intelligence would be that first if all, we are using the white idea if intelligence to judge theirs. This is flawed because if an obvious bias. However, we ask came ultimately from Africa. It seems to me that there could be something to be said about the fact that Europeans had to adapt to a new environment whereas modern day Africans did not. Having that background could potentially add a genetic tendency to a certain type if intelligence. But again, the bias inherent in judging them by our standards.

When you're near the equator, black skin is great, since UV light can't penetrate it as well, reducing the chance of skin cancer. The only difference is the rate at which they produce them. Some populations have higher rates while others have lower rates. But they all share in the trait in being able to produce them.

Now evolutionary speaking there are factors that come into play in influencing said rates like the founder's effect or nutrition. Both have been used to explain current differences in average IQ.

Regardless, isn't that how successful empires are formed? THey have resources that people want, so they use those resources to further benefit their homeland.
