OP being a fag aside, I think that the "Being gay is a choice" debate will never end. Because if you are gay and you say that it's not a choice, how can het people even believe you? It's simple because het people are not gay, so there is no way to confirm if gay is a choice or not.

Here goes.
Your mummy really loved you as a baby and child. She was seriously overprotective, to the extent that her love for your dad got transferred (its likely they are divorced).

This overprotection did several things:
1. Stopped you developing natural male responses to agressive/traumatic and pain inducing situations (mom always there to 'kiss it better')
2. Stopped you from forming emotional attachments to women, not possible because of course the bestmwoman is your mom.

3. Points 1 & 2 lead you to enjoy enhanced empathy with the world around you.
4. Inability to connect on a subconcious level with females sexually, leads you to express emotion with the same gender.
5. You are able to 'read' women easily, further precluding sexualised contact.

I know a lot of the above is controversial.
There is nothing wrong with being gay.
