i want to take a course in computer science but im not sure if its for me, is there any place on the internet where i can get better background information on it? it's been many a year since i've done anything beyond basic mathematics as i haven't really had the need for it so i'm looking for something a bit more straight-forward if possible

Write a program to crawl educational sites for related information, categorize, summarise and read it to you in an haughty english accent.
Obviously.

Also try some cisco shit.
Cisco shit is paid but you also get a certificate.

You really shouldn't waste you're time. If you are actually INTO something, and for computer science you have to LIVE AND BREATH it. you wouldn't need to ask us. im sorry but that's how it works.
