I heard the electric motor (AC brushless) is up to 95% efficient in real-world setting, that would make it the best machine in terms of efficiency then right?

they really should've called it the zucker-cox machine :/

Why does it need cooling if its the most efficient machine? :^)

an efficient machine woudln't make so much waste heat huh

5% is a whole lot of fucking heat when your motor is eating a gigawatt per hour.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Coming from someone who works somewhere with a lot of explosion proof (see sealed air tight case) ac brushless motors. They are fairly efficient. I dont know about 95% but they dont produce much heat. In the proper application they are cool enough to the touch that you wouldnt know if it was running if you couldnt see/hear/feel it.

What about reverse cycle aircon, it heats more than an electric heater at the same wattage.
