Completing the square is not important enough to know unless you're a mathematician, long division is pointless with calculators but everyone should still know how to do it, graphs are helpful, and i agree about the rational forms thing.

I didn't learn it for some reason so just made do with successive approximation via multiplication until we were allowed to use calculators.
