Is 22 too late for somebody who did poor in high school (2.8 gpa) and no prior college experience to work towards attending a good university though Community College? I'm not a typical slacker who NEETs it up, I just let poor mental health get in the way of my academia growing up. Thanks for any response.

Is never to late for education OP.

I'm 24 here, did kinda shit on high school and dropped university in the first years (lack of motivation) but a few months ago a sprinkle fired inside me and now i really want to know a lot of stuff all by myself like a way to demonstrate im really up to what STEM has offer as a challenge.

Started on mastering algebra and now i am studying geometry then i'll keep jumping to more complex science and math.

By mid 2016 i'll be back to university an take a mechanical engineering course, hopefully i will be able to rekt any math/science problem i encounter.

Now get yourself a book and start studying OP!

>pic current books i own

no, your High school doesn't matter. If you go to CC and do well, you can transfer to a great university.

It did mediocre in HS, went to CC transferred and I'm doing a ph.d program now in a pretty good school.

Nah, you're fine. One of my friends barely made it through high school, flunked out of first year college (which he only got into on some sort of special GPA-ignoring program), worked at a video store for a couple of years, and then decided he was serious about having a nice life. Now at age 32 he's a tenured math professor at a major US college. Didn't have to suck anyone's dick or anything... just learned his shit and published a few good papers along the way.
