Should I be discussing compsci on here or on /g/?

I like talking about the subject in its own right, rather than from the perspective of a consumerist/fanboy ("x language is better than y") or as a means to an end (all those people who want to learn the bare minimum necessary to make their shitty indie game already).

What would you like to talk about, anon?
I am not personally interested in "computational theory" like Turing Machines, Halting, etc. but algorithms are fun

Despite the CS hate they're actually many CS majors on /sci/. If you wanna talk about computation theory and algorithms etc than thats fine. If its gonna turn into a which IDE/Text Editor and language do you use faggotry take it right back to /v/ ver.2
