This is a serious question

Why is it that humans are the only species that get pleasure from sex? Why are we like that and why aren't other animals like that? How do other animals even know when to finish?

Also, how come evolution hasn't led us to become 'genderless'? Wouldn't that be better as there would be more people in the event of an extinction? Sort of like some frogs.

I'm really curious as to what made you come up with this idea and what could have possibly convinced you that it has some scientific basis?

I think this is bullshit. There has to be some sort of mechanism to encourage reproduction in other animals, otherwise they would go extinct.

lol not even close nigger. Dolphins are the obvious example, theres plenty of videos on the internet of them using small fish as a fleshlight. Literally every god damn mammal experiences pleasure from sex.

Hey guys, do insects such as fruit flies experience pleasure from sex (I know the female fly doesn't) or do they do it purely for reproduction?

>> No.7215876

>>7215717
Like this >>7215735 anon pointed out, every species that has two genders likely gets pleasure from sexual intercourse. It's the main drive for reproduction. Kind of like every animal (and insect too) feels pain - it's the main driving force to survive.

1. There's no evidence to suggest we're the only species (there is evidence for the contrary though).

2. Sexual reproduction leads to increased genetic diversity and a higher rate of evolution (not sure if this is the correct way to word it, it seems crude).

For instance, dolphins engage in sex far before sexual maturity, thus representing that they too do it for pleasure.

Evolution is not a process that leads to a perfect animal, it only leads to an animal that can survive in it's environment.

Sexual dimorphism is advantageous in a number of ways, specifically for humans the division of labor helps to raise our unusually slow developing children.
