If someone is good/enjoys math would you recommend him to do post graduate study?

I'm graduating in 2-3 months time. I've gotten all A/A+ in math/physics courses. I'm torn between joining a graduate program for a local bank, or doing my honors and then possibly a Phd.

I guess what I'm asking is, what are good reasons to do post-graduate study over getting a proper job with specified training?

Sorry if not /sci/ related but I figured there'd be more people with experience relevant to the question here than any other board.
