Hi /sci/, I really need your help here. I need to solve this "simple math problem", it's a really difficult riddle that I haven't had any luck with.

What I am appears only five times a week. One way in the morning and four times at night. You cannot see me two of these times but you may include me in the other three. I am most common in the seventeenth minute and you notice me at least twice in this time. I have more than six symbols but no more than two times than that of what has been said. If you truly knew what I was, you would know that I am of four parts with one supplementary part to control the rest. Two of me there cannot be and do not be fooled by the mirage of twenty-five you see. Two ways of finding what I am but you must find the one included in this clue.
