What's a good book to learn Differential Equations?
I took the class several years ago, but I was in a bad part of my life and barely passed with a B and without any effort.
Don't confuse this with bragging, for it's embarrassing that I have forget the little I actually learned.
I don't really like the book that I have on the subject.

If it's purely introduction to elementary differential equations, DiffyQs might help. It's fairly new. There is a free pdf version of it.

>Barely passed with a B
Oh boo hoo poor boy.
Skills recede as time goes on where it's not put to constant use, it's normal.

>it was such a hard part of my life for me, everyone in my family died.
>I got a B
>oh yeah I BARELY EVEN STUDIED
>I MAYBE studied for a few minutes the whole semester and got a LOUSY B
>how embarasing for me
>I'm not bragging at all but I want you to know that I DID NY STUDY AND STILL GOT A B. I couldn't stand just asking for a book recommendation without telling you that little bit of information.
>just again I am not bragging but I mean I want you to remember that I pulled a b WITHOUT ANY STUDYING

Why is it that every anon on /sci/ has to state some kind of credential even though it has literally no place in the question or post?

Ex: hey /sci/, could someone elaborate on rate mechanisms? Btw In highschool I got a 2100 on my SAT Without studying, just thought you should know that. Okay maybe I studied a little bit but still if you clocked the entre time I spent studying it would only be about 5 minutes total and they were not even good minutes either, I wasn't really concentrating and it was really loud so yeah I wouldn't count those minutes but yeah you know...

You guys need to find some interest or something else that adds value to your life. The constant need for trying to showcase any modicum of value to everyone all the time is not a healthy thing. You feel you are invisible unless you try and assert something you feel brings value to your worth to people who you don't even know not ever will. What's the deal?

These, as someone who seriously tanked classes from being in a bad place I laugh at this. If you're in a bad part of life you fail, whether you study or not.

This right here. When I'm going through shit I do worse than when I'm good, despite working 10x as much.

I just backed it up with experience, that's all why would I need to prove myself by telling the world I was depressed and couldn't wipe my own ass?

I like Tenembaum's books (Dover) and also Braun (Springer). Both for introduction level. Otherwise go for V.I. Arnolds book.

I don't know how green text tier Khan Academy is here but they have a good introduction to Diff Eq.
