Redpill me on string theory /sci/. Is it falsifiable? Is it simpler than the Standard Model? Can it be used to extrapolate to the Standard Model in terms of a finite number of measurable physical quantities? Stackexchange can't seem to explain it without resorting to a bunch of nonsense homo words.
