Does time speed up if you're near a giant collection of negative mass?

Yeah, sure

When will we stop having 10 Interstellar threads per day?

>> No.7068705

No, I tried it. I purchased a tank of helium and glued my watch to the cylinder. The thing didn't run at a significantly different rate from the clock I have in the next room, shielded with a significant amount of lead.

No because negative mass will just create a dent in spacetime exactly like normal mass would do only in the opposite direction. But it is a warp nonetheless so time would slow down as well. You should take the absolute value of mass like you would with mass of your mom, which happens to approach infinity as r tend to any number larger than zero.

Prove it

What's to prove besides that which has already been proven? He's completely correct.

Not the guy, but proofs in GR are usually pretty extensive, I couldn't be bothered either. /sci/ is not the right board for stuff like that, as every non-shitpost gets ignored anyway.
