I think it's great, I'm no physicist but I can see there's plenty wrong with the concept of dark matter and dark energy and the expansion theory. A lot of these theories are based on hypothetical facts however so anything can be dis-proven given the necessary evidence crops up.

They're claiming that the 'size' of the Universe is constant, never changing, which then leaves the problem of how all galaxies are red-shifted. Anyone care to take a stab at how you explain the red shift without there being more space-time created between galaxies all the time?

You're guessing, and poorly, and you don't seem to understand the problem: They're ALL moving away from us in ALL directions, and they're ALL red-shifted. How could they ALL be moving away from us, and none TOWARDS us, and therefore blue-shifted?

It's a little tod raw any solid conclusion from the model yet. I'm glad my University is finally getting some rep beyond Neuroscience but the paper is pretty thin. This is something that will either take decade to expound upon as a new paradigm shift or will fizzle out in a few years. After reading the paper and article I am very interested in wear it is heading as there are a ton of interesting implications that I"m curious how they solve. In the front of my mind is Entropy and how they solve that.

Either way it's extremely interesting and deserves a lot of work rigour.

You cannot have an Infinite number of past events because Infinity Is just a concept, it has no bearing on the physical plane of Existence.
I suppose infinity Does exist like god also exists, as a concept not bound by space and time. But it has to be said that unlike god, who has conciousness and will, infinity is a numerical concept and thus cannot bring it self into existence.
