I was having a debate with a fellow classmate about what is a more difficult subject? Chemistry or Physics. He mentioned that to do practically any engineering, you must have also done chemistry; not sure if that is entirely true though. What does /sci/ have to say?

He's wrong. I finished with degrees in engineering and physics. I never learned any chemistry. Most chemists think the quantum mechanics they learn is hard, even though their class is usually a joke. I certainly couldn't memorize all the shit they do though. Physics is just more interesting.
