How much did you have to read before doing well in a physics test?

I read 2 hours every day for 11 days, then kept a 6 day pause without reading anything before my test and my test went horribly. I thought I had read enough but clearly I hadn't...

My maths test was easy for me though, even though I read to it the same amount as for my physics test.

Due to extensive research done by the University of Pittsburgh, diamond has been confirmed as the hardest metal known to man. The research is as follows. Pocket-protected scientists built a wall of iron and crashed a diamond car into it at 400 miles per hour, and the car was unharmed. They then built a wall out of diamond and crashed a car made of iron moving at 400 miles an hour into the wall, and the wall came out fine. They then crashed a diamond car made of 400 miles per hour into a wall, and there were no survivors. They crashed 400 miles per hour into a diamond traveling at iron car. Western New York was powerless for hours. They rammed a wall of metal into a 400 mile per hour made of diamond, and the resulting explosion shifted the earth's orbit 400 million miles away from the sun, saving the earth from a meteor the size of a small Washington suburb that was hurtling towards mid-western Prussia at 400 billion miles per hour. They shot a diamond made of iron at a car moving at 400 walls per hour, and as a result caused two wayward airplanes to lose track of their bearings, and make a fatal crash with two buildings in downtown New York. They spun 400 miles at diamond into iron per wall. The results were inconclusive. Finally, they placed 400 diamonds per hour in front of a car made of wall traveling at miles per iron, and the result proved without a doubt that diamonds were the hardest metal of all time, if not just the hardest metal known to man.

I never do anything one day before the exam though, I find that to be too stressfull, better to just chill then.

An old one I had to look up but I personally still like it.

>Heisenberg and Schrodinger get pulled over for speeding.

>The cop asks Heisenberg "Do you know how fast you were going?"

>Heisenberg replies, "No, but we know exactly where we are!"

>The officer looks at him confused and says "you were going 108 miles per hour!"

>Heisenberg throws his arms up and cries, "Great! Now we're lost!"

>The officer looks over the car and asks Schrödinger if the two men have anything in the trunk.

>"A cat" Schrodinger replies.

The cop opens the trunk and yells "Hey! This cat is dead."

Schrodinger angrily replies, "Well he is now."

A brazen, deadly gangster policeman professor and parroting puppet of the computer god was teaching a class on Franklin D. Roosevelt, a known Tsarina Fag.
"Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship The Worldwide Mad Deadly Communist Gangster Computer God and accept his lifelong Frankenstien radio controls!"

At this moment, a brave writer of unforgivable thruths and terrorized member of the master race who had typed over 1500 poorly worded rants and understood how CIA gangsters pump deadly poison nerve gas-smoke into secret compartments and lived in a low, deadly niggertown old house, stood up ALONE and held up a thick, strong homemade appeal brief.
"How long do people naturally live before they are dead or useless?"

The cackling, sneering, co-conspiring felon gangster parroting puppet officer professor laughed his mad giggle now,and smugly replied "70 years, you helpless and hopeless frankenstien slave."

"Wrong. People are subjected to worldwide systematic instant-plastic surgery butchery murder, inside a sealed computer god robotic operating cabinet"

The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his nerve gas ball point pen and blurted many statements. He stormed out of the room crying those hangmanrope sneak Gangster playboy tears.

The students applauded and were all notarized as pummellers of niggers that day and converted to Astrocism, the true religion of the Slovene people.
A deadly touch tarantula spider named "MENACE TO GANGSTER GOVERNMENT" trajected around corners into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tabin needle on the ticker tape. The worldwide open secret was read several times.

The professor lost his tenure and was put into Maximum Security Insanity Prison the next day. He died of the The worldwide completely controlled deadly degenerative climate and atmosphere and was lead into Frankenstein living-death eternal slavery

convert it to a string first.
cut the number of digits, concat. with '.' then join it all together and parse as float/double/etc...

its the common answer in many math related problems,
it can be actually proven as part of computer science field of 'Formal Languages' algorithms, when you 'step out' of your world's ABC, projecting the problem on language with different set of rules (in this one, its that floats stored in 100% accuracy using their ASCII sequence representative).

You don't understand. It had to be this way. The character practically wrote himself (and chose letter colouring).

why the hate on engineers?
cars, rockets, buildings. Everything is made by engineers.

Why hate on mathematicians?
they are abstract and creative with amazing philosophical insights.

Physics/Chemistry/(bio..meh) all use experiments(engineering) and Math(by mathematicians of course) to come up with their theories which, lets be honest are sometimes out of their ass. Faster than light neutrinos, parallel universes(math concept really). I can see why these physics people here are so bitter. Heck none of their ideas would mean anything if it wasn't for engineering and math. So is that why you scientist are here making fun of mathematicians and engineers? because you depend on them?

Dude it's just a joke. I'm an engineer and I've made some of those gay engineer jokes.

Lol, I'm an EE and everytime someone brings up engineers on this board I make a joke about dicks.

Every group of people make jokes about other groups of people. The only ones who don't get this either don't get humor or have never worked in groups.

When I was in school, two teachers that were engineers taught me some of the best engineer jokes, a few female teachers(and my sisters) taught me some of the best rape jokes. And for some reason a math teacher only taught us gymnastics.
