If energy can't be destroyed or created then how did the big bang start from nothing?

That is a law of our universe. Why would you think it applies to "nothing"?

How strange you are. Clearly you dont understand science.
We live in a 3D world, that third dimension is defined by movement/time.
Remove either one of those two functions and the universe becomes 2D (try it as a thought experiment).
The entire universe cannot exist in 2D so it compacts to 1D, a single point.
QED no superbeing required.

Energy can be created but not destroyed. All energy is transferred. To where I do not know. The big bang is a theory. Doesn't mean it happened. Doesn't mean it didn't either. In theory the big bang was created from two atoms colliding at such a high speed it created a ripppe effect. Where those two atoms came from. ? I have no fucking idea.

Because the law applies to nothing. Nothing is a vacuum; that is, there is NO matter in this space. Therefore, no matter can simply appear unless it comes from an outside source..

>> No.6981333

At one point, the universe (that is, the space of everything) certainly was a vacuum. There was no matter; there were no particles of anything. Energy and particles had to come from somewhere. From whence did it come from? No one knows. We will NEVER know. And don't try to get all edgy on me.

I work as a theoretical/practical physicist and chemist. Let me tell you, this is an impossible matter to discuss. Anyone trying to justify their answer to the OP is either 14 or a theist.

energy not being able to be destroyed or created is a law of the universe. Before there was a universe these laws did not apply therefore fuck off.

The Big Bang idea was first published around 1250 AD and modeled after the Virgin Birth.

The big bang didn't start or come or begin "from" anything.

Nothing isn't a state of anything.

It's the absence of everyhthing.

Nothing is the only thing that doesn't exist in any form.

>> No.6981645

>>6981333
It's the reverse.

Space and time didn't exist.

Space is the universe, what a space has in it doesn't matter

The Big Bang is a theory, it's not known fact.

Personally, I don't buy an explosion without a center.

>> No.6982598

Of course it is. If time stopped (but you were able to 'see' and register for a short period) what you would register is a world without any movement.
That world would be as a 2d painting to you, it is movement and time that 'produces' our third dimension.

Of course, with no movement, all particle actions stop, this causes all matter to cease existing in current forms instantaneously. Its quite a simple concept if you think about it.

What "produces" the third dimension is multiple reference points. Like 2 eyes. So your world would still be 3d.

That said, time is not a spacial dimension. It's also a little silly to order spacial dimensions. I mean what is the "first" dimension? Is it possible to move in the second dimension but not the first? Which direction in the universe is length and which one is width? If you're moving in a straight line are you moving in only one dimension? Or are you moving in all of them because my frame of reference doesn't place you parallel to any dimension? It's nonsense. We live in a multidimensional space but those dimensions are only defined in whatever way is useful at the moment. Lrn2 vector spaces/subspaces.
