The solution is to do more science. Sooner or later science will figure out the mechanisms behind consciousness.

The worst and most counterproductive thing we can do is to dismiss science and to resort to philosophy. Philosophy, i.e. baseless assertions and faith based reasoning, never solves a problem.

As /sci/entists we have to accept that the brain is complex but not intractable and that we are simply datastructures made from chemicals.
