Does anyone else feel like Spurdo Spärde in class? I'm pretty enthusiastic about learning science and math but I'm still in general chemistry and pre-calculus (mostly simple trigonometric functions) and even those courses are reaming my asshole. It's a great feeling to be struggling on something all night and wake up in the morning with a new perspective and realize I can do it.

But I always feel like that one retard in class who asks the dumbest questions all the time just because I have a hard time keeping up the pace when we're learning live in lecture. Especially when I'm in chem lab and I'm almost ALWAYS the last person to finish up, going overtime now and then.

I just put a stupid grin on my face and try my damnedest.

Asking questions is good. A lot of time people don't ask questions because they're afraid (this is for general courses).

I'm a 5th year senior and I'm going to fail out college this year. I also work in one of my professor's lab and routinely fuck shit up to the point where, three weeks in, he's still showing me or having someone show me how to set up vacuum filtrations and shit.

oh man my PI had to walk me through a serial dilution of HCl to certain pH levels and I felt like an enormous retard. At least I can blame it on the fact that I'm barely halfway into my first trimester as a chemist

>cannot do filtration

kill yourself, your profs lab is probably dogshit if they let kids like you in
