I recently rewatched Outbreak. tell me /sci/, how realistic is the movie, errors aside? Can ebola get to this level?

No. And this thread is about to be taken over by /pol/ retards who scream habbening every time they read the news. Ignore them.

Let's head off the alarmist faggots who are going to scream about "muh ebola in america."

>daily reminder that fucking nigeria and senegal have contained their outbreaks and are reporting no new outbreaks

Of course it can. Now how likely is it is the question and that depends on assumptions and are those assumptions correct is another question. The fact remains this virus is spread via saliva so coughing or sneezing and the transportation infrastructure outside Africa is very developed so this getting out of hand has a mechanism. Also considering that the Ebola patient in the States from Liberia was sent back from the hospital after being looked over doesn't give much credibility to health officials.

The fact remains none of the idiots here on this board can answer this question.

>11 days since last case
>neighboring nations admit unable to control spread
Sure is reason to celebrate.

Also great pic, other viral outbreaks were contained in recent years. I hope you realize how non-sequitur that is to the point you're trying to make.
