MADE MYSELF SICK LICKING BOOTS

My friends and I are jackasses. I don't have much money and we made a bet. They were going to pay me if I won but if I lost, I had to lick the treads of their boots while they watched the Lord of the Rings and try to get them as clean as possible. They only made it through 1 and a half movies but that's still a long time that I was doing that.

Starting while I was paying up, my mouth went numb, my lips are red, dry and chapped, I have trouble swallowing, my mouth keeps filling up with spit, and my throat hurts. I still have these symptoms even though we did this last night. If it's been this long and I haven't died or anything, I'll be alright, right?

Is there anything really dangerous that's likely to be on their boots? One of them fixes cars and does oil changes and stuff, the other two do farm work. I know there was some horse poop I ate but not sure what anything else was.

Could be an allergic reaction to something, take some Benadryl and see if that helps
Horse poop and farm dirt in general will be filled with parasites and worms and stuff, not a huge deal (a very large portion of people have parasites/worms/etc and don't know it for years, decades, or ever) but could be bad, though also doesn't fit your symptoms.

I'd say probably a dose of some nasty chemical which fucked you up (petroleum distillates etc from the car guy) but will heal with time or maybe some sort of bacteria. If it gets worse and seems like you have an infection go to a doctor. If it isn't getting worse I'd give it at least a few days or a week before doing anything, those chems can really fuck up your mucous membranes and other things in general, shit is just bad for you.

You'll be fine. If you get a lot of diarrhea or your sore throat keeps up for a few days, see a doctor, mostly because you have exposed yourself to a lot of e. coli and staph and some strains will require antibiotics.

'There's no risk of cancer here, unless you swalled a lump of dirt/petroleum, and if you did you'd probably throw up

this could have gone much worse, you could have swalled not a chemical, not a germ, not a virus, but a tapeworm. tapeworms are ANIMALS, you could have a multi-cell organism infection, but you probably just have some reaction to fungus or some other germ cultivation.

Now here's the interesting fun part, INFECTIOUS ORGANISMS like fungus can actually Cause cancer if they go untreated and find the right parts of your body to infect, because THEY produce carcinogenic substances as they live inside of you. like little factories producing gas that damages the dna of your own cells. there are circulatory cancers which lead to more cancer in more places, this is the worst possible scenario and it should not be taken lightly, you need to see a doctor for antibodies IMMEDIATELY.
