we exist to foster, carefore, and steward life in the universe since thats what we've come from. if you act under this guide life is simple and sweet and the struggle is good.

You exist because the chemicals in your body are assisting you in living.

If by "why" you mean what caused you to exist then origin of life, evolution, and your parents having intercourse and all that.

If by "why" you mean for what do we exist then who the fuck knows.

if you mean by causal conditions, when can talk about reproduction.history, evolution, abiogenesis, formation of the solar system, life cycle of stars, and the big bang.

If you want to assert some kind of personal agency of goal to this all, then you better take this elsewhere. This is a board for science. I personally believe all those who claim to know this purpose is talking out of their ass, but you can make that decision on your own

There are more fundamental forces at play than chemicals. And causality seems to flow in the direction of the fundamentals of being toward the complexities of being.

If you keep dismissing things as intangible, they will never become tangible. You have to start with what you can put into finite terms. Science isn't going to leap much further until we more thoroughly understand the implications of the apparent ability of consciousness to influence the physical realms, and as effectively integrate philosophy and science as possible.

The phenomena of awareness is NOT entirely explained in terms of chemistry. Just because the electrical impulses we observe correlate in a vague way to the thoughts they represent, but there is no evidence of a causal relationship, and as I said here:>>6568153

Causality flows from the fundamentals of being toward the complexities of being, and acknowledging the double slit experiment, consciousness and whatever form it actually takes, exists in a way that transcends and includes and influences this realm of being. Meaning whatever form it takes, is more quantum than photons and/or less physical than energy and/or more encompassing and causally integrated with our reality than any physical mechanics we understand. But still has a very real effect on physical reality.

Meaning that the brain is more of a receiver of consciousness than a generator, and when dealing in terms of morality, metaphysics, ext.

you must look toward the actual mechanics of whatever wave-function type phenomena accounts for awareness.

If awareness is a field of some kind that permeates, includes, and influences all of the most fundamental forces of this realm, then when looking at a collective point in meaning, you would have to study it's behavior. Which, given our limited understanding of this phenomena, doesn't give us much perspective from which to derive kind of a collective goal from being.

But first consciousness must be understood more.

Concluded.

The point of your being is simply to be.

Whatever your theory on the universe, it includes some kind of structure that doesn't hold up to causal reasoning. Logic and order and structure suppose themselves, and are doomed to be dismantled. Causality is integrated and consciousness is infinity experiencing itself through infinite potential ways of organizing itself into some subjective structure through which to view itsself.

If you must have some direction, then follow the direction that the universe seems to be flowing. Expand your consciousness and continuously broaden your worldview. Destroy and rebuild opinion structure and continuously broaden your comprehension of the possibilities of life. Expand your realm of potentialities and then some off them will just happen.
