Is anyone on /sci/ either gone to or is in Purdue. I will be joining this year as a freshman if I don't get the grades for my first choice.

Before you start calling me a retard. I had to delay college due to health reasons. (Cancer, but now gone. Hopefully)

I just want to know what its reputation is like. How tough/easy the courses are etc I plan on doing either Physics or Chemistry.

I guess it must of been brain cancer. That would explain why you cannot follow simple instructions. It's a pity you didn't die from it.

like half the threads on this board are anything better than /x/ level

If janitors actually got off their lazy asses and started enforcing the rules, at least 3/4 of the threads on /sci/ would never exist

chemotherapy and almost every cancer drug legitimately causes cognitive impairment

please don't be mean

I'm there for nuclear engineering and it's pretty cool, but the classes are no joke, most 300, 400, and 500 level nucl courses consist of a semester long design project or a lab component. don't know about the phys or chem programs tho.
not sure why you say not to call you a retard, Purdue'es engr programs are pretty much all to 10 in the US, but i guess ur not going for engr. (you should tho)

no one reads the rules

/sci/ as an entity would cease to exist with proper moderation

good that they don't. fuck stickler-for-rules janitors. every single board with too many janitors is terrible.

I heard they do it for free.

>(you should tho)

I was thinking about doing Chemistry + Chemical engineering, but the prospect of a 5 year graduation isn't that appealing.

I just don't think engineering is my cup of tea. I just prefer pure sciences.

How big are classes after the intoductory courses. (I can get credit for a lot thanks to gud AP scores)

Is the ALEKS math assessment anything I should worry about? I've done Calc BC in high school.
