What are some possible ways to combat climate change that don't involve reducing carbon emissions? Because frankly, that's not going to happen for a while. I have heard about dumping sulfuric acid into the upper atmosphere. could we dump something in the oceans to slow the acidification?

Remove barriers to mass produce carbon materials into everything, especially large things and disposable consumer produces. Diamond heat sinks in cell phones other things would dramatically improve performance and once they morph back into graphite and get tossed into the junk yard they will take some carbon with them. Diamond filler agent in concrete would take a lot out as well.
This all assumes that it leads to a net decrease. If we burn 2 kg of carbon to gather and dump 1 kg of carbon it will never work.
We need to find a better way to use waste heat to make charcoal and then dump it someplace where it won't bother us.

The real answer is reduction and migration to other things like nuclear and solar.
