Relies less on assumptions regarding the faulty nature of how we infer from perceptions.

Mathematics and Philosophy is considered "Pure" because it's true regardless of whether we live in the matrix or not.

Everything else relies entirely on the assumption that we are indeed inhabiting the real universe, and that our senses are not lying to us.

That is what "Pure" means.
