Does engineering require the use of really complex mathematics?

>> No.6272660

yeah we use complex analysis all the time

>>6272660
Is complex analysis difficult to master though?

>>6272676
nope. it's math.
so it's pure logic and easy

How long is a piece of string?

If you're talking about an undergraduate degree, not particularly.

I ask this because I'm considering becoming an engineer but I am not very "good" at math. Probably nothing that can't be fixed with enough studying, but I just wanted to make sure I'm not getting myself into super advanced mathematical concepts that I'll never be able to comprehend.

it went so well they're thinking of making it national.
=p
you know 73% of engineer graduates end up in the gay porn industry, rite?

You will not enjoy engineering then

I plan to go into aerospace engineering which is a field with lots of demand

>>6272706
I mean I'm good enough at basic algebra and trigonometry and stuff, I was just wondering how much more advanced than that does it really get?

yeh, a lot of demand for cock.

depends on what engineering areas you are interested, the more serious design areas the more advanced mathematics you need (and that applies to almost every engineering)

I do not think this has to be a problem. I sucked at math when I was still going to school because I had no motivation. Now I have found a motivation, namely theoretical physics, which pretty much is applied mathematics at its best. And since I know what I am doing it for, I am able to sit down and get the shit into my head. If you really have a knack for the engineering side, the math should not be a problem. If you have trouble understanding math at an engineering level though try and have a look at books geared towards mathematicians. It is often times easier to understand if you have better foundations. These are often lacking in courses for engineers.
