I've never been able to make that little jump to 100WPM. I think the best I ever did might've been over 100, but it was an outlier. My average sits closer to the 90WPM mark when doing that test and I reckon that when just casually chatting online I write closer to 75WPM.

Here's my results typing at my estimation of my normal typing speed. I type as fast as 90WPM when getting particularly enthusiastic about what I'm writing; for example, when I'm "on a roll" with a stats report.

The 97, or whatever it was, was me typing at my fastest and most accurate, part out of luck, just for the purpose of typing as fast as I could.

Is there a correlation between typing speed and intelligence? I dont think it could be very significant. For example my hands are very tiny smaller than girl hands and i cant even reach all the keys.

Who in this thread types with the proper technique of relying on placing your index fingers on F and J?

I don't. I have this haphazard way of typing where I'm mainly using my index and middle fingers.
