Are you ready for a thought experiment, /sci/?

Let us hypothetically assume there is an omniscient and omnipotent being (let's not call it "god", I don't want this to be a religion thread). This being does not physically interact and does not communicate with us. Is there any conceivable scientific experiment to verify or falsify the hypothesis?

no

Omnipotent being would entirely control the outcome of the experiment, hence not really an experiment, so no

Plot twist: The being's name is "consciousness"

Obviously you don't understand what that is. Your ignorance made me chuckle.

sucks for me.

It is easily falsified by Hitchens' razor.

You could form a hypothesis, run controlled experiments where you goad it into physically interacting or communicating and then see if the evidence supports your hypothesis.

In other words, not directly checking the existence of such a being but checking "If a being exists, it does not physically interact or communicate with us".

Yeah, how about no.
