Yo /sci/entists what kind of career options are available for a pure math major? How many math majors who aren't professors are on this board? I'm still a sophomore so it might not be to late to change my course of study.

a lot of low level analytics jobs would be available.

Basically anything that a Bachelor in math will get you.

The masters/phd in Pure math are basically worthless in industry. Unless you are really good at selling yourself or showing the employer that you are capable of high-level applied math (which you probably wont be)

It's a "derivation" of the schrödinger equation for a free particle, from the electromagnetic wave equation.
Unfortunately a lot of the equations aren't rendered properly.

Too bad the Supreme Court decided to interpret the constitution correctly (this time), and condemned the NSA's massive project...
I wouldn't have minded though. As long as they don't share my browsing information with my parents.

The NSA is the largest employer of mathematicians in the US.

Last I heard a Federal judge ruled it unconstitutional, which as appealed. I haven't heard of the SCOTUS accepting that verdict or them even hearing the case yet.

Learn programming, work in the tech field.

I'm sure there are quite a few companies, both established and startups, that would find your skills useful.

One company, Telegram, has been boasting about some crypto system it developed in-house via a team of Math PhDs.
